SC East Bengal forward Harmanpreet Singh’s contract ended this month and he moved on a free transfer to Bengaluru FC ahead of BFC’s upcoming AFC Cup playoff stage clash against Eagles FC.
It has been learnt that a number of other clubs were interested for the 19-year old attacker following a promising 2020-21 Indian Super League (ISL) campaign for SC East Bengal where he featured in seven games and created trouble for opposition defenders.
Harmanpreet joined Indian Arrows in 2018 and made 14 appearances in the I-League before moving to SC East Bengal ahead of its debut season in the Indian Super League.
