The present survey is the first of the many short surveys that we are planning to conduct through out the year to capture fans’ perception on various aspects including team building and performance (individually as well as a team) of SC East Bengal.
6 questions were asked to the fans aiming at capturing their perception on the recruitment of SC East Bengal’s Indian squad for 2021-22 season. 1047 responses are recorded so far out of which 43.9% comes from the age bracket of 21-30. 20% of the respondents belong to the age group between 30 and 40.
The perception of the fans was captured by a self-reporting instrument that includes a set of questions. For first 5 questions, a 5-point Likert scale varying between degrees of intensity was used, for example, response 1 signifies ‘very poor’ whereas response 5 signifies ‘very good’ with respect to a statement. Response 2, 3 and 4 signifies “poor”, “average” and “good” respectively.
Perception regarding question no 6 (do you think that our recruiters have done a tremendous job in such a short time) is captured using a 3-point scale where response “yes” signifies most favourableness to the statement.
