Boulaye Dia (41′), Bamba Dieng (84′) and Famara Diedhiou (48′) scored for the African champion, while Mohammed Muntari (78′) grabbed a consolation goal for the host.
A win or a draw for the Netherlands against Ecuador, which beat Qatar in the tournament’s opening game, on Friday, will see the Qataris become the first side mathematically eliminated from the competition.
