Time is very short as the transfer window will close on August 31st. The deadlock between Shree Cement & Officials was solved a couple of days back. Overall it will be a challenge to build a formidable team in such a short time.
Considering the situation, East Bengal Club General Secretary, Mr. Kalyan Majumder in a letter expressed the desire to co-operate with Shree Cement with a list of suggestive players for building a formidable side for the 2021-22 season.
On reply, Shree Cement East Bengal CEO, Col Shivaji Samaddar, requested to forward the list of players with their credentials. He mentioned that he will forward the list to the technical team.
SC East Bengal have finalised a deal with left-back Hira Mondal and have approached quite a few other Indian players. SC East Bengal can still sign players who are free agents post 31st August.
