The sixteen best teams of Europe are through to Round of 16 of UEFA Champions League 2022-23. Round of 16 draw will be held at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland on Monday 7 November 2022.
Four teams each from Germany and England, three teams from Italy, two from Portugal and one each from Spain, Belgium and France qualified for knockout stage.
Following are the teams who have qualified for Round of 16:
Group winners:
Napoli (Group A), FC Porto (Group B), Bayern Munich (Group C), Tottenham Hotspur (Group D), Chelsea (Group E), Real Madrid (Group F), Manchester City (Group G), Benfica (Group H)
Group runners-up:
Liverpool (Group A), Club Brugge (Group B), Inter Milan (Group C), Eintracht Frankfurt (Group D), AC Milan (Group E), RB Leipzig (Group F), Borussia Dortmund (Group G), Paris Saint-Germain (Group H)
Teams dropping to Europa League:
The third-place teams from each group dropped into the UEFA Europa League knockout playoffs. Ajax (Group A), Bayer Leverkusen (Group B), Barcelona (Group C), Sporting CP (Group D), Red Bull Salzburg (Group E), Shakhtar Donetsk (Group F), Sevilla (Group G) and Juventus (Group H) will face second-place finishers from the eight Europa League groups to make up the knockout round matchups for Europa League.
