2010 World Champions Spain started their 2022 FIFA World Campaign with a thumping 7-0 win over Central American side Costa Rica in Group E match on Wednesday at the Al Thumama Stadium in Qatar.
Spain one of the youngest side of this World Cup with their fantastic performance and quick-fire movement sent a warning to the rest of the teams in Qatar.
For Spain, Dani Olmo in 11′, Marco Asensio in 21′, Ferran Torres in 31′ (P) & 54′, Gavi in 74′, Carlos Soler in 90′ and Alvaro Morata in 90+2′ scored the goals.
Spain will next face Germany while Costa Rica will play against Japan.
