The environment of East Bengal club tent is deteriorating day by day. Never ever any supporters would have thought that they will face any kind of harassment while visiting their loved and favourite club tent. But the truth is as supporters, we are experiencing this, which can be marked as Black day for us, we expected better environment from a club which has so many rich history for Indian football.
SC East Bengal’s participation in Indian Super League is still uncertain as the conflict of club officials and Shree Cement is yet not solved, hence the final agreement signing is still on hold. Hence the fans all over the world are very much worried about the situation.Â
One of our supporter, Agradeep Saha visited East Bengal Club tent on Saturday. Like thousands of East Bengal fans he also cheer for his favourite team from gallery. As he entered the stadium, he felt very emotional, looking at the beautiful Red & Gold gallery. Hence he did a Live in Social Media platform Facebook talking about his emotions and concern for the future of football of SC East Bengal.
This is the time when he was harassed by one person. The person tried to take him down from gallery to the club tent, when he tried to leave the place, he was surrounded by about ten to fifteen people. The young man was rescued from the situation by some media personnel and police personnel.
Later in Facebook Live again, Agradeep informed in details as how he was verbally abused and was threatened for deleting the live video from Facebook.
However, the club is not willing to accept this incident. According to them, Agradeep is not mentally stable.
