Ten-man India U23 team lost lead and match to Tajikistan with 2-3 score line in a friendly match at the TALCO Arena, in Tursunzoda, Tajikistan, on Wednesday.
The Blue Colts took lead twice but conceded twice and also lost the match after conceding another goal in injury time.
Suhail Ahmad Bhat in 33’ and Parthib Sundar Gogoi in 85’ scored for India, while Ansor Khabibov in 59’, Muhammadiqbol Davlatov in 90+1’ and Muhammadali Azizboev in 90+5’ scored for Tajikistan.
India was down to 10-men in second half after Ayush Chhetri received a double booking.
