East Bengal FC have announced that Vishnu PV has signed a two-year contract extension, committing his future to the club until the end of the 2027-28 season.
Earlier, he joined the Red & Gold Brigade in mid-2023 on a three-year deal
East Bengal’s Head of Football, Thangboi Singto, lauded the youngster’s growth and professionalism: “Vishnu’s extension is a reward for his good performance in East Bengal colours. Consistency, perseverance, willingness to improve, professionalism and humility are the traits we want to inculcate in all our young players. We wish Vishnu all the best as we believe it’s just the start for him to reach his true potential.”
Head Coach Oscar Bruzon emphasised Vishnu’s growing stature within the squad: “PV Vishnu has become an important asset to the club, hence his extension was a top priority for us. He has limitless potential, fearless dribbling skills and match-winning impact. If he continues to work hard and develop at such a rapid pace, he can become one of the best wingers in the country.”
Speaking after signing his new deal, Vishnu expressed heartfelt gratitude: “East Bengal has nurtured my growth and continuously supported me to become a better player. I am grateful to the Emami East Bengal FC management and the passionate fans for always believing in me. This club has made me what I am today and I am determined to bring East Bengal as much success as possible.”
