West Bengal defeated Railways 3-1 in 28th Senior Women’s National Football Championship for Rajmata Jijabai Trophy Final Round Group A match at Kishore Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata.
For West Bengal, Sangita Basfore in 3’, Mousumi Murmu in 8’ and Sulanjana Raul in 78’ scored the goals. Anju Tamang in 10’ pulled back one for Railways
Earlier, West Bengal defeated Punjab 7-1, Delhi 2-0 and lost to Tamil Nadu 4-0.
In Group A, Tamil Nadu now have 10 points, West Bengal on nine points and Railways have seven points.
West Bengal will next face Chandigarh on May 10. A win will ensure their place in knockout stage.
