West Bengal lost to Manipur 3-2 in their second match of Hero Senior Women’s National Football Championship 2022-23 at Guru Nanak Stadium on Sunday.

For West Bengal, Mousumi Murmu in 44′ and Sangita Basfore in 71′ scored the goals, while for Manipur, Bala Devi scored in 17′ while Lynda Kom scored a brace in 40’and 52′

Lynda Kom was adjudged Player of the Match.

Earlier, West Bengal defeated Himachal Pradesh 4-0.

West Bengal will next face Maharashtra on June 20 at Guru Nanak Stadium.
