Belgium knocked out of 2022 FIFA World Cup after playing a goalless draw against Croatia

Belgium played a goalless draw with Croatia in Group F match at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium on Thursday and thus are knocked out of 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Red Devils finished third with four points. Croatia finished second with 5 points while Morocco qualified as group winners with 7 points.

Croatia was awarded a penalty in the 15′, but after a VAR check by referee Anthony Taylor, it was ruled out.

Belgium on the other hand, came close to scoring later on in the second half, when Romelu Lukaku hit the post once, and missed a sitter in the last minute of the second half.
