Chinese Taipei defeated Thailand 3-0 in the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia/New Zealand playoff at the D.Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Friday.
The win for Chinese Taipei’s means that the tie against Vietnam on Sunday will be a final for the sole automatic qualifying slot to Australia/New Zealand 2023.
Thailand’s still have a chance with the Inter-Confederation playoffs.
For Chinese Taipei, Su Yu-Hsuan scored a brace in 44’and 84’ while Chen Ying-Hui scored one in 90+3’.
