East Bengal FC defeated Namdhari FC 2-0 to progress to the Final of IFA Shield for 41st Time on Tuesday at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan.
Mohammed Rashid in 19′ and PV Vishnu in 41′ scored the goals for East Bengal FC.
This is the 41st time that the Red & Gold Brigade had qualified for IFA Shield finals. They had won a record 29 times and finished runners-up on 11 occasions.
