East Bengal FC lost to Al Seeb Club 2-0 in AFC Champions League Two 2026-27 at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata on Tuesday.
Two late goals from Axel Méyé (85′) and Zahir Al Aghbari (90+1′) sealed the victory for Oman’s Al-Seeb Club.
Despite playing well, East Bengal lost the match for Poor finishing. This is happening in the entire tournament for the Red & Gold Brigades.
East Bengal Fc slipped to bottom of the table with two points from four matches and are almost out of knockout connection. Now they will have to win their remaining two matches to reach a maximum of eight points and rely on other results going their way.
Earlier, they played a 2–2 draw against Jordan’s Al Hussein SC, lost 2–3 to Iraq’s Al Shorta SC and played a goalless draw with Oman’s Al Seeb Club.
East Bengal will next host Jordan’s Al Hussein SC on November 24 and will play their last group match against Iraq’s Al Shorta SC at Iraq.
