East Bengal FC lost to Mohun Bagan SG 5-1 in Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL) 2024 for Season 3 regional qualification at Bibhutibhushan Stadium, Barrackpore on March 18, Monday.
Aman CK in 90+6′ scored the only goal for Red & Gold Brigade. For Mohun Bagan SG, Sibajit Singh in 23′, Suhail Ahmad Bhat in 48′ & 67′, Taison Singh in 43′ and Dippendu Biswas in 82′ scored the goals.
Earlier, the Moshal Boys defeated Odisha FC 2-1, Kalighat MS 2-0, played a goalless draw with Adamas United SA, 3-3 draw with Jamshedpur FC and lost to United SC by 1-0.
The Red & Gold Brigade will next face Mohammedan SC on March 21, Thursday at Bibhutibhushan Stadium, Barrackpore.
