East Bengal FC lost to NorthEast United FC 2-0 in RFDL 2025 National Championship Stage at Reliance Corporate Park in Navi Mumbai on Friday.

East Bengal FC thus finished their National Championship Stage Group A campaign at bottom with three points.

East Bengal FC defeated Diamond Harbour FC 2-0, but lost to Jamshedpur 3-0, FC Goa 1-0, Kickstart FC 1-0, in National Championship Stage.

Earlier, Moshal Colts finished the Kolkata–North region at top with 19 points. East Bengal FC defeated Diamond Harbour FC 4-2, Garhwal Heroes FC 2-1, played a 1-1 draw with Sudeva Delhi and lost to Mohun Bagan SG 1-0 in first leg. Defeated Mohun Bagan SG 2-1, Diamond Harbour FC 2-1, Garhwal Heroes 4-1, Sudeva Delhi 4-1 in second leg.

East Bengal FC finished their regional qualifiers campaign with two-win, two draw and one defeat and qualified for Zonal Group Stage along with Mohun Bagan SG and Diamond Harbour FC.

East Bengal FC defeated Odisha FC 3-1, United SC 1-0, played a 1-1 draw with Diamond Harbour FC and 0-0 draw with Mohun Bagan SG and lost to Mohammedan SC 3-1.

In last season, East Bengal FC finished Runners-up and qualified for Next Gen Cup which was held at UK.
