India defeated Bangladesh 3-0 to finish on Top of Group B in SAFF Women’s Championship 2026 at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Margao, Goa, on Sunday.
Pyari Xaxa in 36′, Lynda Kom Serto in 78′, and Malavika P in 90+1′ scored the goals for Blue Tigresses. This was India’s first win over Bangladesh in seven years after losing their previous two matches against them in the 2022 and 2024 editions of the tournament.
Earlier, India defeated Maldives 11-0. India will face Bhutan in semifinal on June 3.
