India defeated Bhutan 1-0 to progress to the final of SAFF Women’s Championship 2026 at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Wednesday.
Five times champions Blue Tigresses will face last two editions champions Bangladesh in final, who defeated Nepal 2-1 in other semifinal.
Sanfida Nongrum scored the only goal of the match in 60′.
India in last two editions – 2022 and 2024 lost in semifinals.
The final will be played on Saturday, June 6 at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
