Disappointing performance from India as they draw 1-1 against Nepal in the first of the two international friendlies in Kathmandu.

Nepal dominated most of the proceedings and had the opportunity to upset Blue Tigers. However, Anirudh Thapa rescued India from the embarrassment.

Nepal took the lead in the first half through Anjan Bista in the 36th minute of the match. Anirudh Thapa equalized for India in 60th minute.

In the history of India and Nepal fixture, India won thirteen matches lost twice and four matches remained draw.
