India’s senior men’s football team will take on Panama in an international friendly on September 26, 2026, as part of the FIFA Men’s International Match Window. The venue for the highly anticipated encounter will be announced at a later date.
The fixture will mark the first meeting between India and Panama at senior international level. Panama, currently ranked 44th in the FIFA World Ranking, will offer the Blue Tigers another opportunity to face a team with recent FIFA World Cup experience.
Panama participated in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, making the September clash another important test for India against a World Cup nation. The match is currently set to be the first of four encounters India will have against teams that featured at this summer’s World Cup.
Following Panama, India are scheduled to face Brazil on October 3, before taking on New Zealand on November 12 and 15.
The upcoming fixtures will provide India with valuable exposure against higher-ranked international opposition as the Blue Tigers continue to strengthen their preparations for future challenges.
