India’s U17 men’s team will play two international friendly matches against Myanmar at the StarCity Sports Club in Thanlyin, Myanmar, on October 4 and 7.
The two matches will be the Blue Colts’ first international friendlies since they began their preparatory camp under head coach Mehrajuddin Wadoo in Margao earlier this month.
The friendlies are part of India’s preparations for the AFC U17 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2027 Qualifiers, as the team looks to fine-tune its preparations ahead of the continental qualifying campaign.
India have been drawn in Group E of the AFC U17 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2027 Qualifiers, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from November 11 to 20.
The Blue Colts will face hosts Malaysia, Palestine, Singapore and Guam in the group stage.
