India won Record Sixth Title, defeated Bangladesh 3-1 in SAFF Women’s Championship 2026 final at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Margao, Goa, on Saturday.

The Blue Tigresses won the title after seven years as they lost in the semifinals in the last two editions. Earlier, they won in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2019. Bangladesh had claimed the last two editions played in 2022 and 2024.

Pyari Xaxa in 42′, Sanfida Nongrum in 46′ and Lynda Kom Serto in 82′ scored the goals for India, while Ritu Porna Chakma in 45+1′ scored one for Bangladesh.

Aveka Singh finished as the competition’s top scorer with four goals. Sanfida Nongrum was named Most Valuable Player, while Panthoi Chanu Elangbam won the Best Goalkeeper award. Nepal won the Fair Play award.
