Indian women’s football team has dropped two places to 69th in the latest FIFA rankings released on Tuesday.
The Blue Tigresses finished third in four-team FIFA Series 2026 at Kenya, where they lost to host Kenya 2-0 and defeated Malawi 3-2.
In AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026, India lost all their group matches against Vietnam 2-1, Japan 11-0 and Chinese Taipei 3-1.
Spain is at No. 1 position while Japan leading the Continent as they are fifth in Latest Ranking. As per AFC National team ranking, India is currently ranked 13th.
In SAFF region, India is way ahead from rest nations, as Nepal is at 87th place, Bangladesh 112th, Sri Lanka at 162nd place.
