Punjab FC defeated Mohammedan SC 2-0 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi in the Indian Super League 2024-25 match on Friday.
For Punjab FC, Luka Majcen in 58’ and Filip Mrzljak in 66’ scored the goals.
Tekcham Abhishek Singh of Punjab FC was adjudged Key Performer of the Match.
With this win Punjab FC moved to third place with 18 points from 9 matches while Mohammedan SC remained at 12th place with 5 points.
Next, Mohammedan SC will host Mumbai City FC on December 15 whereas Punjab FC will travel to Jamshedpur to face with Jamshedpur FC on December 13.
