SC East Bengal has started their practice in full swing after completion of Second Quarantine. The Red & Gold Brigade will start their Indian Super League (ISL) campaign on November 21 against Jamshedpur FC. Before the start of ISL campaign, SC East Bengal will play a pre-season friendly match against defending Champions Mumbai City FC on Sunday, November 14.
Mumbai City FC is a well-balanced team with foreigners like Brad Inman, Ahmed Jahouh, Igor Angulo & Mourtada Fall, and Indian players like Rahul Bheke, Rowllin Borges, Bipin Singh, Raynier Fernandes in the squad.
Coach Jose Manuel Diaz feels that playing against defending champions will help him to understand the current situation of the team and where the improvements are required before the start of ISL. Moreover, he feels that a win or a draw will give the team a moral boost before the start of Indian Super League Campaign.
