After a comparatively better season compare to last four years, East Bengal FC is all set to prepare themselves for the new season and as per sources confirmed, French footballer Madih Talal already confirmed to don Red & Gold Jersey.
Now the news that we are receiving is that our star centre-back Hijazi Maher has signed a contract extension till 2026.
East Bengal FC in this season under the guidance of coach Carles Cuadrat, finished runners-up in Durand Cup and won Super Cup, lifting silverware after 12 years. Hijazi Maher made a stellar performance in ISL and specially in Super Cup.
After seven years, in the upcoming season, East Bengal FC will represent India in Asian level, AFC Champions League 2. This will be the 16th appearance for East Bengal at Asian level tournaments.
Saul Crespo is also expected to stay till 2026 and Cleiton Silva is set to be extended for one more season. However, everything will become clear in next few days.
