SC East Bengal will face Jamshedpur FC on 10th December at Tilak Maidan Stadium. In three seasons Jamshedpur FC twice finished at fifth and last year at eight place.

The signing of ISL Golden Boot winner, Lithuanian forward Nerka Valskis, will definitely give positive energy in forward line. He led his former club, Chennaiyin FC to the ISL final scoring fifteen goals and six assists, and all of his goals came through open play. Defender Peter Hartley, is another vital signing for Jamshedpur. Hartley, earlier had spent nine years at Sunderland.
The signing of Brazilian midfielder Alex Lima, Nigerian defender Stephen Eze and Australian forward Nicholas Fitzgerald will bring experience in the team.The team management has retained playmaker Aitor Monroy who played in every match for Red Miners last season.
The Signing of solid Indian talents like Jackichand Singh, right back Laldinliana Renthlei, Goal keeper Pawan Kumar, left-back Ricky Lallawmawma, Forward William Lalnunfela and winger Bhupender Singh will give Jamshedpur FC hope of making to the playoff this season.
The management has promoted 10 fresh young talents from the club’s Reserve Team and U18 Team to the senior team. Midfielder Billu Telli and Gorachand Mardi, Goal keeper Raj Mahato and Vishal Yadav, defender Subhash Barua are a few of the names.
