West Bengal defeated Uttarakhand 3-0 to seal Quarterfinal berth in Swami Vivekananda U20 Men’s NFC at the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Ground in Narainpur on Tuesday.
Thus West Bengal became the first team to qualify for knockout phase.
For West Bengal, Santanu Naskar (3′), Rahul Naskar (60′) and Shibam Munda (69′) scored the goals.
Earlier, in Group E, West Bengal defeated Punjab 5-1 and played a 1-1 draw with Tamil Nadu.
West Bengal will face the winner of Group C in quarterfinal.
