West Bengal played 1-1 draw with Tamil Nadu in Swami Vivekananda U20 Men’s NFC in Group E match at the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Ground in Narainpur, Chhattisgarh, on Friday.
Rahul Naskar gave West Bengal the lead in 34′ and also became the first ever player to score a goal in Swami Vivekananda U20 Men’s NFC. Lijo Eujin Thatheyus equalized for Tamil Nadu in 72′.
West Bengal will next face Punjab on April 14.
The top team of the group will progress to knockout stage.
