East Bengal FC defeated Bengal Football Academy 5-2 in AIFF Sub Junior League 2023-24 at Bidhannagar Municipal Sports Complex on March 21, Friday.
For East Bengal FC, Deepak Mondal in 8′, Jeet Samanta in 20′, Manab Marjit in 23′, Sisir Sarkar in 37′, Raktim Roy in 50′ scored the goals, while, for Bengal Football Academy, Rimo Saha scored an OG in 45′ and Tanmoy Biswas scored in 18′.
In first leg, East Bengal FC defeated Bengal Football Academy 3-2, Bidhannagar Municipal Sports Academy 4-3, Mohun Bagan SG 2-0 and United SC 3-2.
In second leg, East Bengal FC Played 5-5 Draw with Mohun Bagan SG.
The Sub Junior Red & Gold Brigades are leading the table with 16 points from six matches.
East Bengal FC will next face Mohammedan SC at Naihati Bankimanjali Stadium on March 23.
