East Bengal FC defeated Mumbai City FC 2-1 in Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 at Mumbai Football Arena on Tuesday. East Bengal was trailing by 1-0 in half time.

For Red & Gold Brigade, Youssef Ezzejjari (P) equalized in 58′ and Nandhakumar Sekar scored the winning goal in 71′ scored the goals while Brandon in 8′ gave Mumbai City the lead.

With this win, East Bengal FC jumped to top of the league table with 21 points from 10 matches. They have won 6, drew 3 and lost one match.

Next, East Bengal FC will face Punjab FC on 11th May at Kolkata.
