East Bengal FC have been recognised as the FPAI Men’s Team of the Year for the 2025–26 season, a fitting acknowledgement of a remarkable campaign that showcased consistency, competitiveness and determination across multiple competitions.
The recognition by the Football Players’ Association of India (FPAI) highlights the stature of East Bengal’s performances during the season. The Red & Gold brigade emerged as ISL 2025–26 Champions, while also finishing runners-up in the Super Cup 2025 and IFA Shield 2025. The team further reached the semi-finals of the Durand Cup 2025, underlining their ability to remain competitive across different tournaments.
