India lost to defending champions Uzbekistan 3-0 in AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026 in their final Group D match at the King Abdullah Sports City Hall Stadium on Sunday.
The Blue Colts thus finished the campaign winless and ended India’s hopes of securing a historic qualification for the FIFA U17 World Cup Qatar 2026. India earlier lost to Australia 4-0.
For Uzbekistan, Laziz Abduraimov (32’) through penalty and Akhrorbek Ravshanbekov (78’) scored while an OG by Wangkhem Denny Singh in 60’ gave the defending champions 3-0 win.
