East Bengal FC defeated SESA Football Academy 6-0 in Indian Women’s League (IWL) 2025-26 at East Bengal Ground on Saturday.

For Moshal Girls, Karthika Angamuthu scored a brace in 14′ & 28′; while Soumya Guguloth in 45+1′, Sushmita Lepcha in 45+4′, Fazila Ikwaput in 70′ and Resty Nanziri in 87′ scored the goals.

Karthika Angamuthu was adjudged Player of the match.

Fazila Ikwaput scored goals in 10 consecutive matches for East Bengal and joined the elite group of Swamy Nayaar (1946), Ashim Moulik (1964) who also have the same achievement. Chima Okorie is leading by scoring goals in 11 consecutive matches for East Bengal.

East Bengal is leading the league table with 30 points from 11 matches.

Earlier, East Bengal FC defeated Sethu FC 1-0, Garhwal United FC 2-1, SESA Football Academy 9-0, NITA Football Academy 5-0, Kickstart FC 5-0, Gokulam Kerala FC 3-0, Sribhumi FC 3-0 in First Leg and in Second leg defeated Sethu FC 1-0, Gokulam Kerala FC 2-1, lost to Kickstart FC 2-1.

The Moshal Girls will next face NITA Football Academy on May 12.
