West Bengal Placed in Group B of 2026-27 Dr Talimeren Ao Junior Girls’ National Football Championship, which will be held from September 10 to October 7, 2026. Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
Tier 1 will feature 15 teams divided into three groups of four and one group of three. Tier 2 consists of 18 teams split into two groups of five and two groups of four. The group winners will progress to the semi-finals. Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, promoted from Tier 2 at the end of last season, will compete in Tier 1 in 2026-27, replacing Goa and Arunachal Pradesh, who were relegated and will compete in Tier 2 this season.
West Bengal finished Runners-up last year losing to Manipur in final.
West Bengal is clubbed with Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan in Group B. They will face Maharashtra on September 16, Odisha on September 18 and Rajasthan on September 20 at Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
West Bengal had won this title in 2011-12 defeating Odisha, while finished Runners-up twice in 2003-04 and in last edition. In both occasions they lost to Manipur.
