East Bengal FC are set to begin their AFC Women’s Champions League 2026-27 preliminary stage campaign on Monday, aiming to secure a place in the group stage for the second consecutive season.
The Moshal Girls earned their continental spot after winning the 2025-26 Indian Women’s League. The upcoming campaign will be East Bengal’s second appearance in an AFC competition.
East Bengal created history last season by progressing beyond the preliminary stage and becoming the first Indian club to win an AFC Women’s Champions League group-stage match. They will now look to build on that historic run.
Drawn in Group A, East Bengal will face Sabah FA of Malaysia, Rovers FC of Guam and Bangladesh’s Rajshahi Stars FC.
